Carol Craig Joins Vaya Space Board of Directors

Tech CEO joins Aerospace and SmallSat Launch Company

Vaya Space announced today that Carol Craig, Founder and CEO of Craig Technologies and Craig Technologies Aerospace Solutions, has joined the Board of Directors.


“Carol Craig is an accomplished business leader, innovator, and entrepreneur,” said Sid Gutierrez, retired NASA Astronaut and Vaya Space Chairman of the Board. "Her extensive experience and expertise growing tech start-ups into successful companies will help us take Vaya Space to the next level.”


A former Naval Flight Officer, Carol Craig is the first female CEO to commercially provide satellite deployment from the International Space Station. A few of her many awards include Small Business Administration - State of Florida Small Businessperson of the Year, Orlando Business Journal – Veteran of Influence, Great Minds in STEM – HENNAC Entrepreneur Award, and National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Small Business Executive of the Year.


Craig Technologies is a nationwide engineering, technology, and manufacturing firm that provides services to both government and commercial customers. In partnership with Craig Technologies Aerospace Solutions, Craig Technologies also supports the International Space Station.

Craig Technologies Aerospace Solutions provides turnkey services to manage and execute the successful integration and on-orbit operations of satellite payloads using the International Space Station Integrated Kinetic Launcher for Orbital Payload System (SSIKLOPS), supporting the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) microsatellite market (50-100kg).
